He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lyon and Margaret Stine Lyon; his sister Mary Hinton (Allen); and his sister-in-law Luvina Mosier Frye (Glenn Frye). He is survived by: his wife Edith Mosier Lyon; his daughter Ann; his son-in-law Tom Middleton of North Carolina; his son David; his daughter-in-law Karyn Lyon of North Carolina; his brother Billy Lyon of Hagerstown, MD; and his caregivers, Gina, Ruby and Nicole. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
