He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Melvin and Vergie Gladys Bayliss; and his siblings, Ruth Rinker, Mary Mallow, Gene Bayliss, James "Jim" Bayliss, Donald "Don" Bayliss and Rev. Phillip Bayliss.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Kimberly "Kimmie" Bayliss, Rebecca "Becky" Bayliss, Sandy Critelli, Sharon Lane (Todd), Lisa Bayliss and Robert "Buddy" Bayliss, Jr.; and his siblings, Shirley Plummer and Charles "Charlie" Bayliss. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
