He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Murray (Holt); his children, Debra Murray and Michael Murray; and his sisters, Vada Mullenaux and Shirley Buttry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Pagel (Mike), Sharon Michael (Terry) and Laura Waggoner; his grandchildren, James Kefauver, Michael Leizear, Richard Leizear Jr. (Angela), Douglas Vallance, Guy Miller Jr., Michelle Murray, Christina Rainey (Corey), Amanda Barker (Dave) and Michael Waggoner Jr.; and his children-in-law, Jan Murray and John Eaton.
