We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2022, at the age of 83, Montie Wood Gibson Jr. of Winchester, Virginia, born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Montie Wood Gibson, Sr. and Julia Patricia Gibson; his wife Pearl Gibson; his sister Suzanne Morley; and his granddaughter Julia E. "Beth" Gibson.

He is survived by: his children, Montie Wood "Butch" Gibson, III of Martinsburg, WV, Diane Davis of Stephens City, VA and Amy Adams (Troy) of The Plains, VA; his sister Kathleen Mayl of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Bo, Brandon Gibson, Lindsay, Courtney, Natalie Davis, Hannah, Haley, Gabe, Jake and Annie Adams; and his great grandchildren, Aaleyah, Gavin and Carson.
