It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Edward Carden (Winchester, Virginia), who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther A. Carden and Bonnie Dew Carden; and his siblings, Margaret Lucille Swafford, Orena Reeves, Emma Lee Martin and J. Thomas Carden.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Whittaker Carden; his children, Susan Carden Kume (Paul) of The Woodlands, TX and Edward Scott Carden (Dayle) of Dubai, UAE; his grandsons, Elliott Olivia Carden and Liam Edward Barrett Carden; and his sister Louise Caldwell of Warner Robins, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
