She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Leo Funk, Sr. and Marguerite Swartz Funk Brill; her stepfather Otis Wilbert Brill; her husband Jim; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Hughes; her grandson Corey Benjamin Omps; her brothers, Walter M. Funk and Norman L. Funk, Jr.; and her stepbrother Claude Brill.
She is survived by: her children, Alecia Mildred Omps (John) and Douglas James Hughes (Karon); her grandchildren, Dougie Hughes (Angela), Stacey Martin (Kevin), Herschel Omps and Aaron Omps (Misty); her great grandchildren, Samantha Hobbs (Chris), Carolyn Hughes (Steven), Amber Huff, Clark and Zane Groves; and her great great grandchildren, Brooks, Sadie, Sylvia, Statler, Walker, Xavier and Davian. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lucille to Relief United Methodist Church, 5275 Middle Road, Winchester, VA 22602.
