In the vast expanse of eternity, Louise shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Louise farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leight and Lillie Crisman Leight; her husband Dick Reid of Winchester, VA; and her brother Grover Leight. She is survived by: her brother John Max Leight (Joann Leight) of Stephens City, VA; and her half-sister Anne Vaughn Cornwell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home - Winchester (228 S Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's name to Braddock Street United Methodist Church, 115 Wolfe St, Winchester, VA 22601 or the Alzheimer's Association at http://www.alz.org.
