Linda W. Unger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, Linda W. Unger of Winchester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Walker and Kathryn Walker. She is survived by: her husband Boyd "Butch" Unger, Jr.; her son William Boyd "Sonny" Unger of Winchester, VA; her sisters, Judy Myrick (John) of Tennessee and Jeanie Mills (Dave) of Stephens City, Virginia; and her nieces and nephews, Danielle Kern, Pamela Hopkins (C. J.), Lisa Carr (Billy), Jason and Jeremy Myrick.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Chapel (1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Shenandoah Memorial Park (1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linda to Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 560 Old Bethel Church Road, Winchester, VA 22603 or Winchester SPCA, 111 Featherbed Lane, Winchester, VA 22601.
