He is survived by: his wife Pauline Zirk Strother; his children, Lewis W. Strother, Jr. (Debbie) of Toms Brook, VA and Kathy J. Hott Miller of Harrisonburg, VA; and his siblings, Roger Strother of Slanesville, WV, Ricky Strother of Augusta, WV, Joy Johnston of Williamsburg, VA, Genny Zarnick of Cleveland, OH, Judy Curcio of Galway, NY and Rosie LaFollette (Donnie) of Capon Bridge, WV.
