He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clyde Haggerty and Thelma Viola Haggerty (Helman); his wife Wilda Mae Haggerty (Raigner); his siblings, Ernest Haggerty and Dolly Ketterman; and his close friend Jimmy Levi.

He is survived by: his brother Thomas Haggerty of Purgitsville, WV; his daughters, Vickie Haggerty (Ronnie) and Christina Richards (James); his grandchildren, Melissa (Bill), Kendra (Chris), Harley (Adam), Jamie and Dallas (Sam); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Jordan, Mya, Jonathan, Katilyn, Kendall, Sara of Trista, CJ, Macie, Addilyn and Paityn; and his great great grandchildren, Haisleigh and Clementine.
