He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Wright and Mary Brown Wright; and his siblings, Alvin Roy, Ethel Dean and Susanna.
He is survived by: his close friend Penny Burnworth; his sons, Paul and Chris; his daughter-in-law Erin; his daughter Leslie; his son-in-law Patrick; his daughter Laura; and his grandchildren, Zachariah, Max, Hanna, Zoé and Liam.
