He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Young, Sr. and Ophelia (Carper); and his sister Debra Collis. He is survived by: his stepfather Franklin D. Orndoroff; his daughter Amy Brown (Alvin); his grandchildren, Lindsay May (JC) and Karly Walker (Justin); his great grandchild Hudysn Walker; his niece Amanda Courtney (David); his great-niece Kirstyn Courtney; his brother-in-law Bob Collis; and his close friend Ruth Nelson.
