He is survived by: his wife Irene Polhamus Ambrose; and his sons, Jon J. T. Ambrose (Jim) of Sagaponack, NY and Todd Ambrose (Irene) of Washington, D. C. He is also survived by 3 stepchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
