He is survived by: his parents, Robert Strom and Nancy Humphries Anderson; his stepmother Reidunn; his daughter Nena Strom of Winchester; his sister Shanna Strom of Valdosta; his stepsister Amy Cline (Paul) of Hernando; his brothers, Simon Strom (Yuri) of Mableton and Miles Strom of Prattville; his stepbrothers, J. P. Anderson (Alfredo) of Houston, Texas, Eric Anderson (Amy) of Prattville and Kyle Cook of Richmond; his mother-in-law Linda Baker of Winchester, VA.; his siblings, Heather and Trevor Strom; his stepmother Betty Strom; and also John T. Anderson. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

“Dear Mr. Strom, I have just recently heard about Ian passing away. I am Jennifer and Nena’s Aunt Anne and of course Ian’s aunt by marriage. I loved Ian very much and I can only hope he did not suffer. Linda’s daughter Laura was kind enough to call me. Please know you have my most heartfelt sympathies.
