It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordanna F. Thompson of Winchester, Virginia, born in Boyce, Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Fletcher and Anna Lou Flynn (Shepherd); her husband Charles Jackie Thompson Sr.; and her brothers, Dickie and Conway Fletcher.
She is survived by: her children, Melany Yeatras (Stavro) and Charles "Charlie" Thompson Jr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Jordan Greene (Malinda), Jared Thompson, Josh Thompson (Paige) and Cleo Yeatras; her great grandchildren, Kylie, Brynlee and Ellie; her siblings, Linda Carter, Susan Fahnestock (Jeff) and Bobby Fletcher (Billie); her sister-in-law Barbara Fletcher; and her pets, Ben and Annie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
