She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Carlton Ashby and Mary Cross Ashby; her husband John Edwin Lyne (Buddy); her grandson Jason Barrow; and her son-in-law Donnie Barrow.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Barrow (Roger Getts) of Summit Point, WV, Janie Garrett (Frederick Garrett), Winchester and David Lyne (Kelly Cook) of Stephens City, VA; her grandchildren, Brittany Artis, Heather Getts, Kirk Rush Jr., Madison Rush and Charlotte Lyne; her great grandchildren, Katie, Hayden, Kash, Kehlani and Kinsley; and her sister Betty Stapleton of Laurel, MD..
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Hebron Cemetery (305 E Boscawen St, Winchester, VA 22601).
