He was predeceased by: his parents, Loran C. Wymer and Viola M. Gorden Wymer; and his brother Larry E. Wymer. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Whipp; his children, Melissa A. "Missy" Luttrell (Brian) and Gary A. Wymer, Jr. (Erin); his grandchildren, Cory Luttrell of Gainesboro, Karlee Wymer of Gainesboro, Brock Wymer of Gainesboro and Brantley Wymer of Gainesboro; and his sister Barbara Locklear of Baltimore, MD..
