He is survived by: his son James T. Cave of Winchester, VA; and his siblings, William "Bill" Cave of Stephens City, VA, Eddie Cave of Cross Junction, VA, David Cave of Berkeley Springs, WV and Cindy Christoffel of Front Royal, VA..
