He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Raymond Zimmerman and Virginia Ottilie Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Zimmerman; his children, Valerie Zimmerman (Val) and Daniel Zimmerman (Dan); his daughter-in-law Serena Gruia; his grandson Matthias; and his brother Ed Zimmerman Sr. (Kathie Zimmerman). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
