She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. Evans and Grace Beatty Evans; her husband Jack McDonald Anderson; and her siblings, Katheryn Evans, Thelma Gruver and Robert "Bob" Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane L. Ellis-Parente (Art) of Maurertown, VA; her granddaughter Alicia Welch of Stephens City, VA; her great grandchild Benjamin Welch; her stepdaughters, Susan Wills of Rupert, WV and Sherry Whitacre (Daniel) of Winchester; and her brother Tom Evans (Golda) of Middletown, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Ridings Chapel UMC, Cemetery Fund or Blue Ridge Hospice.
