He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hall Tufts and Eugenia Stinson; his wife Ann Tufts; his daughter Alison Morra; and his sister Anna Lois Hayes The.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Hillyard (Ray) of Mineral, VA, Elizabeth Brown (David) of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert Tufts (Kimberly) of Banner Elk, NC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Opequon Presbyterian Church (217 Opequon Church Ln, Winchester, VA 22602). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edgar's name to Blue Ridge Hospice or Opequon Presbyterian Church.
