She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Hoover and Bessie Patton Hoover; and her brothers, Robert Hoover, Louis Hoover and Gene Hoover.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Dunn of Winchester, Timothy Shirley (Robin) of Texas and James "Kelly" Shirley (Jane) of Winchester; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Speet, Tracy Howell, Brian Ingles, Brandi Shirley, Timmy Shirley, Travis Shirley and Connie Haines. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
