She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Springer and Christina Springer; her former husband Raymond H. Johnson; her daughter Kathy Linder; and her sister Gertrude Krotz.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Ellen M. Pearce (Jim) of Winchester, Walter E. Johnson (Kathleen) of Summerville, SC and Keith H. Johnson (Barbara) of Winchester; her stepchildren, William M. Layden (LeeAnne) of Hobe Sound, FL, Karen M. Ramsey (Michael) of Alexandria, VA, Kevin T. Layden of West Vancouver and Kathleen T. Dick (Larry) of Cross Junction, VA; and her siblings, Theodore William Springer and Clara Lloyd of Hauppauge, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren.
