He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Leona and Arthur Van West; and his siblings, Linda West and George West. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Lillis (Joseph) of Winchester, VA and Kim Brown (Rick) of Winchester, VA; his grandsons, Matthew Lillis of Virginia Beach, VA, Brandon Lillis of Winchester, VA, Nicholas Brown of Colorado Springs, CO and Steven Brown of Winchester, VA; and his siblings, Gilda Youngblood of Capon Bridge, WV and Arthur "Bob" West, Jr. of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
