He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond G. McClain and Cora Gillam McClain; his grandmother Fannie Byers-McClain; his son Gregory McClain; his grandson Mark Nicholas McClain; and his brother Jerry McClain.
He is survived by: his aunt Freda (Drake); his wife Mary Martha Stroo; his children, Kenneth McClain (Cindy) of Winchester, Kathy Henry (John) of Frederick Co and Mark McClain (Cheryl) of Martinsburg, WV.; his daughter-in-law Shelley McClain of Stephens City, VA.; and his pet Brodee.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602).
