He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Emmett Mayes and Gay Justine Pitta Mayes; his wife Judy Tomblin; his daughters, Melinda Hillyard (Mark) of Winchester, VA and Jodee Reid (David) of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Lauren, Jordan, Ashton and Devin; his great grandchild Makai; his brother Jerry Mayes (Helen) of California; and his niece Christina Mayes.
