He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Eileen and Martin Francis Charpentier. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings, Maria Dutton (Paul Barnhart, Jr) of Front Royal, VA and Michele Noel of Warrenton, VA; his children, Candace Watkins (Douglas) of Poolesville, MD, Charles "Chuck" Charpentier (Jenna) of Sterling, VA and Tammy Pruett (David) of Pawleys Island, SC; his stepson Joseph Cornwell, Jr. (JoAnn) of Berryville, VA; his grandchildren, Samantha Bennett (Jon), Brittany Smith (Zach), Tamara Davis, Emmett Cornwell, Breanna Young, James Henderson, Hunter Watkins, Abigail Henderson, Alex Charpentier, Lorelei Watkins, Lacey Pruett, Gabi Charpentier and Riley Watkins; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Bennett, Madeline Shann, Mason Bennett and Baby Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
