It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Elizabeth Sullivan of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Lofton and Dorothy Lofton; and her brother Tommy "Krab" Lofton. She is survived by: her spouse Laurence Edward Sullivan; her children, Anne L. Sullivan (Jason Morgan) and Corey S. Sullivan; her grandson Marcus Bannister; and her siblings, Genie Searcy (Marty) and Larry Lofton (Barbara). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (115 E Bond St, Winchester, VA 22601).
