With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Sluder of Winchester, Virginia, born in Mountain City, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dayton and Mary Ellen Taylor Jenkins; and her husband Herbert Lamar Sluder. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Gayle Santiago; her son-in-law Andre Marvin Santiago; her grandsons, Garrett Dean Santiago of Rockville, MD and Alec Logan Santiago of Rockville, MD; her brother Edsel Claude Jenkins; her sister-in-law June Jenkins of Bristol, TN; and her sister Edith Mae Jenkins of Shady Valley, TN.
