She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alvin Shiffer and Evelyn Spangler Shiffer; her daughter Alison Morra; and her brothers, Robert Shiffer and Warren Shiffer.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar H. Tufts; her children, Karen Hillyard (Ray) of Mineral, VA, Elizabeth Brown (David) of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert Tufts (Kimberly) of Banner Elk, NC; and her siblings, John Shiffer of Penns Grove, NJ and Lucy Megronigle of Fredericksburg, VA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann's name to Blue Ridge Hospice or Opequon Presbyterian Church.
