Adolene S. Long Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adolene S. Long of Winchester, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Norton Clay Shull Sr. and Iris Marie Shull (Barr); and her siblings, Ann Shull Wiener, Connie Shull Cochran, Howard Owen Shull and James "Jim" Gibson Shull.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly "Bev" Sutler (Larry) and Terry Long (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Donna Shrout (Rick), Denise Solan (Brian), Ricky Shickle (Ashley), Derreck Long (Andrea) and Trever Long (Laura); and her brother Norton "Pete" Shull, Jr. (Janice). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Adolene to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Suite 405, Winchester, Va 22601.
