He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luola Nelson and Philip Summers; his brother Martin Elijah (Marvin Elisha); his niece Letitia Christine; his grandchildren, Jy Lynn Harrison and Aaron Justus Butler; his friend Presiding Elder David Thomas, Jr.; his siblings, Elder Thomas and Andree Smith; his children, Maria Israel Summers, Brother Aaron Summers, Jr., Elder Martin Summers (Elderess Patricia Summers) of Branford, CT and Deacon Marvin Summers of East Haven, CT; his brothers, Elder Lonnie Summers of Stephens City, VA and Derek Summers (Peggy Summers) of Winchester, VA; and his aunt Sarah Thomas of Purcellville, VA. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
