He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley Braxton Wilkins and Elizabeth Christine Wilkins; and his brother Merlin T. Wilkins. He is survived by: his sister Shelia Conlee (Bobby); his nieces, Elizabeth "Pee Wee" Conlee, Maegan Cates (Travis) and Magnolia; his uncle Rodger; his aunt Kathy Monday; and his friends, Richard and Bruce.
