He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Daniels Pemberton; and his children, Stacy P. Burris and Stephen M. Pemberton. He is survived by: his son Larry S. Pemberton; his grandchildren, Carter, Scott Pemberton and Taylor Burris; his stepdaughters, Wanda Brown (Sammy) and Tamela Dowdy (Steve); his grandchildren, Jennifer and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Tori, Katie, Breanna and Rainn.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the church in his memory.
