She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Willis Simmons; her children, Julie Snyder and Howard Simmons II; her grandchildren, Emily Martin, Rachel Cuninghame and Carl Simmons; her great grandchildren, Abigail and Luke Martin; her brother Robert S. LaRue III; and her aunt Betty Myles. She was also cherished by loving mother who absolutely adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
