He was predeceased by: his parents, Vic Hitt and Doris Hitt; and his sister Barbie Hitt. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Hitt; his children, Vinnie Hitt, Rachel Hitt, Cory Hitt, Amanda Hitt and Aiden Hitt; his grandchildren, Iris Hitt and Cameron Hitt; and his siblings, Vic Hitt (Sheila), Bill Hitt (Tayna), Ted Hitt (Cindy), Dan Hitt (Val), Sherry Meres (Dave), Cindy Hitt (Bob), Holley Pinney (Jerry) and Harold Hitt (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Harvest Ministries (6236 Floyd Hwy S, Willis, VA 24380).
