He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shields DeVault and Isabelle Duncan DeVault. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn; his daughters, Sherri Brumfield (Bruce) of Christiansburg, VA and Dana McIntyre of Conroe, TX; his grandchildren, Logan Huff of Christiansburg, VA, Alex McIntyre of Conroe, TX and Illiana McIntyre of Conroe, TX; and his siblings, Joe DeVault (Jerri) of Axton, VA and Princess Davis (Benny) of Woodlawn, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice Hillsville, VA.
