It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wayne Cassell of Williamsburg, Virginia, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Cassell and Mildred Cox Cassell. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dameron Cassell; his daughters, Dr. Meredith Cassell Shrader (Charles) and April Cassell Andrews (Steven); his stepsons, James Lewis (Cassie), Jeffrey Lewis (Christina) and Christopher Lewis (Kristy); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Shrader, Caroline Andrews, Keith Andrews and Ethan Shrader; his stepgrandchildren, Natalie, Logan Lewis, Joshua, Hannah Lewis, Alexis Lewis Humbertson, Hailey, Ashley and Mason Caldwell; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Stella and Josiah Humbertson Jr.; and his pet Zoey.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 1:30 PM.
