She was predeceased by: her parents, William James and Margaret May Smith (MacDonald); her sons, Jeff and Darrell; and her siblings, William Gordon Smith (Sara), Irene Sewchuk (Mike) and Katherine "Kay" Evans (Roy).
She is survived by: her nephew William Norman; her niece Diane Smith; her great-niece Krista Smith (Wilhelmus van Hal); her great-nephews, Dr. Matthew Smith (Kerri Purdy) and Geoffrey Smith (Sharilyn); her friend Williamsburg; her family, Judy Emanuel, Joyce Hedgepeth, Ken and Peggy Hook; her friends, Steve and Nancy Tatum; and also, Owen, William, Harrison Smith, Carter Smith, Gracey, Cameron van Hal, Emma Smith and Charlotte.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church (500 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Williamsburg United Methodist Church, in honor of Vivian's lifelong faith and service.
