Tracy Lucento Obituary
Tracy Lucento, 96, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 3, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Born on January 10, 1928, in Bud, West Virginia, to Orazio and Angelina Lucento, Tracy grew up with a strong sense of family and community.
A proud veteran, Tracy served our nation in the Army, embodying the values of courage and sacrifice. He was a pharmacist and obtained the World War II Victory Medal. After his service, he found his calling working on the railroad before becoming a skilled brick mason and contractor. Tracy's hands built not just structures, but a lifetime of memories for those he loved.
Tracy's greatest joys were his roles as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His love for boating, fishing, and the beach brought him and his family countless cherished moments. Tracy's dedication to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was evident in every aspect of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Virginia Vance, Gloria Pishitelli, Helen Lucento and Sonja (Sunday) Scott; his brothers, Orazio Jr. and Willie Lucento; and his beloved grandson, Caleb Huysentruyt.
Tracy is survived by his loving wife, Martha Lucento; his daughters, Amber Hudson (Andy), Sarah Lucento, Dana Swailes, and Carolyn Lucento; his son, Michael Lucento (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tony, Monica, and Marissa Lucento, Leah Lucius, Christopher Swailes, Madison, Charlotte, Matthew, Caroline and Ellie Hudson, and Cassandra Huysentruyt Grey; and his great-grandchildren, Hannah Swailes, Dawson Swailes, Gabriella and Eliana Lucento, George and Emily Huysentruyt, Jules Grey, and Isaiah Barkley.
Tracy's life was a testament to hard work, love, and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 12 pm, Liberty Live Church, 8201 Croaker Rd, Williamsburg. Interment is private at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
