He is survived by: his wife Hannelore Langenbacher of Bad Säckingen; his sons, Chris and Oliver (Danielle); his grandchildren, Gabrielle (Ian), Grace and Alpheé; his great grandchild Owen; his brother Ubald (Monica); his nieces, Bettina (Thorsten) and Kerstin (Harry); and his great-nieces, Linda, Mona and Lina.
Rolf applied for a job with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and was hired in March 1962 as an Assistant Pastry Chef.
