It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Harris Sr. in Williamsburg, Virginia, born in Spring Hope, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sallie L. Harris and James M. Harris; his wife Audrey Murray Harris; his children, Robert L. Harris, Jr. (Judy) of Richmond, VA and Laura Harris Chesnut (Blair) of Durham, NC; his grandson James; and his siblings, Wilbur C. Harris (Nancy), Dorothy H. Lockwood (Thad), Joseph E. Harris, Eleanor H. Mullen and James M. Harris.
