It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gordon McNaughton Jr. of Williamsburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gail Pedrick McNaughton; his children, Heather Ann McNaughton and Robert Gordon McNaughton III; his parents, Robert Gordon McNaughton Sr. and Ethel Roberta Moyer; his grandson Grayden McNaughton; and his sisters, Patricia Tallman and Roberta Kroh. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to Williamsburg United Methodist Church.

“Dear Gordon, I was mostly a headache to you. Like when you took me to have mohs surgery. I thanked you by taking you to the Mexican place. Then, I fell on the way out and hit my head. And it bled and bled and bled. 911 came and took me off to get 6 staples in my head. And you were left to explain to my daughter Kelly why her Mom left a puddle of blood on the floor. And speaking of Kelly....you and she just hit it off. Tough law enforcement Kelly just melted around you. Rest in peace, my friend.”
