He was predeceased by: his son John Staples. He is survived by: his wife Faith Staples; and his children, Hope Collier (Barry), Heather Hunnicutt (Rusty), Brenda Bros (Victor), Elizabeth Hill and Thomas Staples. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the King of Glory Lutheran Church (4897 Longhill Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188).
