He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. "Dick" Shannon and Rhoda L. Shannon (Meyers). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Shannon (Reath); his children, Austin Shannon of Charles Town, WV, Carley (Shannon), Kessler (Nathan) of Frederick, MD and Dylan Shannon of Williamsburg, VA; and his siblings, Rose Grissinger (Shannon) of St. Thomas, Ronald Shannon (Jaylene) of Dillsburg, Ruth Ann (Shannon) and Frey (Dean) of Chambersburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Foundations Church of Williamsburg, VA, Mission Hill Church of Chambersburg, PA, or mission work of your choosing.
