He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Lukens and Joseph Lanius Parkhurst. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Campbell Parkhurst; his children, Elizabeth Perkins (Jeff), Dick (Betsy) and Stephen (Taylor); his sister Katharine Dodd; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Sarah Katharine, Emily, Jeffrey, Lindsey (Graves), Stewart, Sallie, Henry, Campbell and Lane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to All Saints Episcopal Church or Bruton Parish Episcopal Church, 201 West Duke of Gloucester Street, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185.
