Opal Sherrill Pierson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2023, at the age of 86, Opal Sherrill Pierson of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman and Hazel; her husband Ben; and her siblings, Evelyn, Ira Sherrill and Charles Sherrill.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Vermillion (Douglas); her grandsons, Jesse, Cody, Brady and Toby Vermillion; her sisters, Mary Shadler and Naomi Williams (Andrew); her sisters-in-law, Lois Pierson Saunders (Butch) and Iris Sherrill; her caregiver Shannon Lee; and also, Jaxon and Ayla. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
