She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Tyler and Rosa Harris Tyler; and her siblings, Curetta Tyler, Mary L. Tyler, Rosezillia Shackleford, Irmalene Tyler, Maretha Greenhow, William Earl Tyler, John Tyler and Leroy Tyler.
She is survived by: her husband James Chapman; her children, Deneen Skinner (Stanley) and James L. Chapman; her grandchildren, Rayvon Chapman, Diamond Chapman, Jordan Chapman and Makiyah Ellis-Ingram; her siblings, Sarah E. Tyler and Charles Tyler; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Walston and Minge Berkeley; her brother Bernard; and her sister-in-law Christine Meekins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.
