We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2019, at the age of 92, Mary Tate Ford Hopke (Williamsburg, Virginia), born in Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Ford and John Ford; her husband Ernest; her children, Richard, Margaret (Carl Carlson, Barbara), William Hopke (Ruth) and John Hopke (Jeanne); her grandchildren, Lisa Carlson, Eric Carlson, Amy Carlson, David Carlson, Meredith Brill Presson, Gregory Brill, Joseph Hopke, Matt Hopke, Lindsay Hopke, John Hopke and Elizabeth Hopke Randolph; and her great grandchildren, Milo, Warren, Evan, Andrew, Addie, Olivia, Catherine, Madelyn, Brooks, Isabelle, Peyton and Bruce. She was also cherished by her five children, eleven grandchildren, and twelve-and-a-half great-grandchildren.
