She was predeceased by: her husband James Harold Slade; and her parents, Chester Phebues and Josie Mae Spencer. She is survived by: her sister Peggy Phebues; her children, Kelly Slade (Cari) and Stacy Lynch (Craig); and her grandchildren, Alexandra Riley (Collin), Hunter Freeman and Megan Freeman.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188).
